Israeli artist Limpika Lilac realistic female portraits are captured on miniature canvases with intricate detail. The canvases take the viewer to another dimension, evoking memories of stills from Fellini's films. The romantic heroines of the paintings embody sophistication, sensuality and sexuality. The artist came up with the idea for her collection after a trip to London, where she drew inspiration from the city's atmosphere and masterpieces in world art museum

work process
The artist selects one or two outfits for the customer and determines the optimal lighting angle. Takes photos from favourable angles and selects a few for discussion. She begins with the labour-intensive task of transferring the drawing onto the canvas, where the magic begins.
